Jim Rose began his landscape experience as a young man working on his parent’s patio at the age of 17. Jim realized quickly he had what it took for quality craftsmanship and detailed design.
He went on to earn a degree from Eastern Illinois University in Science. During his college years, he continued to do small landscape projects using the skills he learned while working in the industry. His attention to detail and quality workmanship were evident even during those early years. With much prayer and thoughtful encouragement from his family, he chose to try his hand at self-employment in the Green Industry.
JR’s Creative Landscaping Inc. was established in 1984 in Naperville, Illinois, with Jim as a designer, estimator, and installer while his mother took care of the bookkeeping, Years later, the company has grown to become one of the most respected design/build landscape firms in the Midwest. Jim’s philosophy has always been to produce the most creative, functional designs possible and install them with a watchmaker’s attention to detail. Jim has surrounded himself with employees and sub-contractors who are excited about their profession and share his high moral character. From designers to project managers, JR’s Creative Landscaping, Inc. sets itself apart from the rest.
